Hey all, im looking to get some new headphones, im currently inlove with the shure E2's and looking at the Bang & Olufsen A8's but im not sure if either are worth the money. Id like to hear them first but theres no shure dealers round her, only the B&O shop. It will probably end up being the E2's, being the cheaper. Unless anyone can suggest anything better. Id prefer nothing too far over £50 if possible

    Thanks
    Alex

    In range of price,

Koss The Plug ($20) (Sounds good after a bit of modding)
    Shure E2C ($100)
    Ety ER-6 ($130)
    Shure E3C ($180)
Ety ER-4P ($220) (You can DIY an adapter to make this ER-4S for around $5)
Stax SR-001 ($240) (These are electrostatics, price includes a portable amp. Stax house sound, but fits in ear. Unlike other canalhpones, no isolation)
Stax SRS-005 ($335) (Also electrostatic phone/amp combo, you get the wonderful conversation starter of "These earphones have 580v across them")
    Shure E5C ($450)

There are also ones from Sensaphonic and Ultimate Ears, but I don't know much about them. Not as popular as Shure and Ety.
