I would like to make a battery charge circuit for a Toshiba Portege battery. The batteries are compatable with nearly all of the 7000/7100/7200 series portege laptops. I would like to be able to externally charge a battery so that I have a spare to switch to with my multiple batteries.

I have the connector to make contact with the battery and what is left of an old portege motherboard to take componets from to make the charge circuit. But I need help in figuring out the circuit. I am sure I could just charge the cells as a pack and they are all Li-Ion. I am not sure about what all the pins do on the battery but I do know that the outermost pins are the Positive and Negative output.

The battery is rated for 10.8 Volts @ 2500 mAh.

Can someone help me design a charge circuit that would preferably have a power input the same as the laptop does so I can use its same power adapter. The powersupply is rated for 15 Volts @ 3 Amps

I took two pictures of the pcb I am using and the connection:

First thing, get the pinout for the battery, and then start looking up chips on the motherboard to get information about the charging circuit.
