Gaming Total War: Warhammer Review

I know I'll love it so £30 isn't too bad, . I know it'll probably be half the price in a steam sale in the future, but meh.

 

Nice review. Looks like a fun strategy game; I might well buy it.

 

Tempted to buy it now, but know I won't have time to play it. Will wait until Christmas or so.

 

If you don't mind Steam Keys then Kinguin (who I have personally used and never had an issue with) have it for under £30.

I do think this will go on to my list of games to buy in the future but right now I refuse to buy any games until I have built my new machine and that is likely to be a Kaby/1070GTX.

No doubt I'll pick this up soon as I've really enjoyed the Total War games.

However, I'm probably in a minority that don't play the actual battles. I find that in the early game it is fine with small armies and few battles per turn, but as soon as you get into multiple battles per turn it just takes so long.

Might as well add that I get the 'correct' outstanding award but the % scores are still appearing on every review.

the % marks go away for me when my ad-blocker's disabled/not present.

 

I can't help but feel that this looks like a glorified Warhammer mod for Rome 2/Attila. Are there any fundamental changes to the way the game plays?

 

Lots of massive changes. The 5 factions all play totally differently.
