    Hi,

Can anyone advise on the best touch screen monitor, going to switch to windows 8, so thought I may as well get play with a touch screen monitor as well.

Would prefer 27", if not 24" or 23".

    Cheers
    Rob

Cant remember the model or anything, or a release date, but I know that dell were planning to launch a touchscreen version of their ultra sharp monitors, such as the u2311. They will also be able to fold near enough flat to the table, which could be quite useful for touch.

    Edit: found it

Can't do anything wrong with a good old Dell-monitor. They introduced their Dell S340T not too long ago, which has a 23" IPS panel with capacitive multitouch. Basically a 23" tablet-screen with 1920x1080 resolution.

Tests say it's worth it's money and there's not alot touchscreens with capacitive multitouch panels anyways.

Just a note, that Dell monitor is also a laptop doc powered by USB 3.0
The monitor has speakers on its base, headphone and mic plug, USB hub, and a webcam if I am not mistaken. And it features a software that allows you to change color settings of the monitor based on what you run (However, don't expect Windows 9/10 support, if there is a new model that comes out after)
