Id posted one previously and would like to refine my question, does anyone have any thoughts on what the best option would be for a touch screen panel that I plan on integrating into a scratch built mini-ITX file server? i've dug around online but prehaps im just looking in the wrong places. Ideally I would love the screen to be 5-12 inches. thanks in advance, sideburns
I don't know much about this, but I know that a lot of modders have put touchscreens into the Asus eeepc. Maybe try looking for what screen they use? I think Langer has done it before.
Well, the older brother of the one I posted in your other thread is a touch screen model. It would be pretty easy to rip it down to the screen and mount it into the side, and then use the internal USB headers to power it.
I saw that its just that being someone who works only part time on account of I'm a full time student, id like to keep the price lower than higher all else fails though i might just break down and go for one of the MIMO screens because lets face it... they look pretty kick ass, haha
well then atleast we are in the same boat wish i had the 200 to drop on the touch panel version though because seems like they make it so damn easy to use... and everyone else makes it such a hassle
