    They look pretty cool, better than just plain black or biege(sp?).
    I have the Artec version of the DVD drive. Put a few more blue LEDs in and it would look awesome! :rock:

    Yeah, but unless you have a way of molding plastic (I do :p) the best you will get is a very basic stealth-type of cover...

    Please, do tell more. :confused:

    I've been doing some basic stuff with acrylic (bends, basic molding, and welding) but I'm trying to get better at it and trying to use different types of plastics.

    It might look good if used with a clear case that has blue lighting already in it.

    Yeah, nothing says you couldn't change the LCD's to match your case/scheme... :naughty:

    I built a small 12" x 12" Vacuum Forming table (Total Cost = $50) for doing basic molding work. Maybe I will put up a How-To in a bit...if anyone would be interested.

    plaster could work fine aswell... depends on what to be molded...

    but javadig: i'm interested... sounds cool :) :dremel: :thumb:

    you could make a vacuum molding if you have ways of making a cast thats susceptable (sp?) to high heat

    or you could melt acrylic with a heatgun and (wearing gloves, of course) mold it to something...this method worked for me...it was kinda sketchy htough
