If you're a trekkie (or trekker), post here, along with your faveroite series(es), and/or faveroite episodes.

I like the good origonal series, origonal movies, and the new "Enterprise" series (with Cpt. Archer, say hi to my avitar :hehe: ).

Original, ST:NG, DS9 grew on me eventually (I really liked Odo and the Cardassian, eventually most of the chars).
Voyager sucked ass (mainly cause I couldn't stand Janeway's voice, I liked some of the other chars).
The new series has kicked ass so far. I don't think there's a char I don't like.

One thing in particular I've liked about the original, is that ALOT of episodes from the other series seem to take
    storyilne directly from it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I like all of the films too.

I can watch most of them, not a big fan though.... One thing I did find really amusing was the film Galaxy Quest...that was hilarious... real trekkie light relief.

DS9 - best, they dont zip around star systems, its more "home" affairs.
Voyager - cause its interesting, and you get to know more ppl then TNG
TNG - crappy moralistic pap, but watchable (im sold on the "make it so").
Original - watch for comic value.
New enterprise - dont have sky :(

    In order of preference:

    DS9
Enterprise (Ditch the title music ARRRGHHH!!!)
    TNG
    Voyger
TOS :eyebrow: (Had to put the Vulcan smiley in there...)

All the films have been watchable, with the possible exception of ST:V - The Apology. Whoever thought letting Fatty Shatner direct was a good idea ought to be shot for crimes against humanity..:D

But I'll watch them all, along with B5, Buffy, Angel, Firefly(?) when it comes out, anything thats SCI FI / Fantasy.

Hell - I've even been known to watch Mutant X!:hehe:

Id have to say TNG, and DS9. VOY was too scientifically and temporally impared for my liking. Th movies are good, but TOS sucks. I like the new one, but dont really watch it. My obsession died with TNG...

    Hoho!

    1. DS9 - The people could act in it! wow!
    2. TOS - Its just to laughably bad.
    3. TNG - See above until later seasons. (Note would have been on top of this list if Riker died in it at some point).
    4. Enterprise - Its just bad not in a good way either, its also making a mockery of the "history of star trek".
    5. Voyager - This IS the worst program EVER they couldn’t act they didn’t even try at times. They also used a hell of a lot of techno babble to cover up very weak scripts and plot holes, Just bad.

Voyager is my fav from them, but I do love them all. as for my favourite episode, that would have to be 'Distant Origins'. I just love all the ideas behind that one!:)

That is a funny movie! I watched it on cable once, and rented it a few times from the video store.

Star Wars is another thing all together. I actualy also am a Star Wars addict, as you could probibly tell from my username.

Well, I got more responce from this thread than I thought I would! I'll put up a Star Wars Thread so that you Trekkies and "Warsies" don't kill eachother.

Seems this threads turned into an allout sci-fi fest.
In which case id best add the rest of my sci-fi divx to the list:
    Buffy (season6)
    Angel (season3)
    Andromeda (ALL)
    Enterprise (ALL)
    Voyager (ALL)
    Farscape (end of season3)
    Smallville (ALL)
Working on a few others but i dont have enough episodes to advertise em yet, all in divx and vcd.mpeg if anyone wants to trade :).

has anyone read the bool series by William Shatner starting with Ashes of Eden? they are REALLY good. for those of you who havn't read them i dont want to give too much away. But... in The Return (the second book in the series) Capt. Kirk is brought back to life by the Borg and Romulan alliance, they program him to kill Picard so they can destroy the Federation. it takes place just after the movie Star Trek: Generations. the last book in the series took place just after the movie Star Trek: Insurection. there are 5 or 6 books in the series.
