Please stay on topic! I've created a Star Wars thread for all you rabid Star Wars fans, if you wish to discuss Buffy the vampire slayer, or Superman TV shows, start a thread for those! I don't want someone like RTT or BiGGiE waltzing in here and closing this thread :D

I'm wanting to get a tv encoder for my computer, so I can record Enterprise, and the other treks, without having to wory about losing VHS tapes :D I'd need a BIG hard drive, though.

Read them, I own them! Those are great books, although hi romance with the Klingon/Romulain/Human is a bit "adult" for most younger readers :(

I enjoied the one especaly where he was told to kill Picard, it keept me on my toes (there is no love lost between me and Picard, but, I thought it woud be intresting to kill him off using Kirk!).

i got each of them as they came out. can you imagine my pain when i read the last paragraph on one of the books that read:

"His mirror counterpart answered as if it were the most obvious question ever asked. "You stole a universe from me, James. And now i'm here to do the same to you."
    "Never," Kirk said
"The choice is yours. Lower your sheilds and surrender. Or you will die. You have ten seconds to comply."
Then the Emperor Tiberius sat back in the center chair of the Enterprise-E
    The waiting began."

AAARRRRGHHHHHHHH i had to wait a YEAR for the next book. i was SOOOOOOOOO pissed.:grr:

Having to wait until the next book is releaced is a pain, I usualy wait until the series is all published (like I did with the Invation series, and also the Belle Tere: New Earth series), that also means that I can get them at the used 1st edition bookstore for 1/2 price :D I am currently reading the older ones, Strangers from the sky, Dreadnaught, Battlestations (can you tell I like Diane Carry?), and so on.

They are making a new TNG movie! I doubt I'll be able to see it in the theartre, but I'l ceartanly try :D

here is an interesting bit of trivia. Did you know that star trek started out as a joke? it was supposed to make fun of the "sci fi phenomenon" that was just starting back then. thats why it was so crappy:D after the first season it became really popular, so they kept it on air. thats also why William Shatner over-acted so much.

Did I miss something? All I see is a page that says direct linking not allowed.

EDIT: Nevermind... figured out you have to copy the address and paste it manually.

Yes, both you and RTT are secretly feared :D

Not that bad (you are still feared), but you'd probibly like to think so :D :D

    So stay on subject!

I liked the ToS movies the best, out of all the Star Trek works so far. My faveroite Star Trek book is "Strangers from the sky" by Diane Carey

I hope it is okay to post about Star Trek still.... :p

My favorite has always been TNG (I've got LOADS of the original ST:TNG CCG, none of that Alternate Universe Crap though..)

I liked TOS enough to sit through it, and enjoy a few episodes (Encounter at farpoint was pretty good) but I never got into DS9 or Voyager...

Of course loved ALL the movies they made.
