This is a tribute to His Infernal Majesty as the title suggests. The band has been a long time favourite of mine and I thought that this old server would be the perfect candidate for the themed mod. My ideas as follows, 2x 92 mm blowhole at the front and a custom 120 mm fanhole and grill over it and a giant plexi heartagram over the 92 mm fans,a thermo temp reader thingy. Purple paint some windows and a whole lot of etching. VICTIM... With the dual 92mm fan holes installed... Also working with some black acrylic i made these... Started painting the panels... And cut out the windows for top and side...with my trusty nibbler Primer the front panel... And so begins the etching/s... The design... Close Ups... And completed... Painted Chassis... Back to the front panel....sanded the primer with 1000 grit about 10 times, washed after each coat and cleaned (to remove dust) then purple coat about 5 times and 2 clear coats... Slowly coming together... side panel top panel front facia Glorifying the front facia Close Ups of completed etch and stencil... Ready to be put back together... COMPLETED PROJECT... this pic is of the power led and hdd led put into a clear acrylic rod and then i used audio cabling stuff and carefully cut out the word H I M into it fit it over the acrylic rod, drilled the tips and put the leds in, so when the case is powered up the hdd led and power leds flash and the HIM words light up. It took about a month to complete, and you'll notice there's no hardware, case modding tends to drain the wallet somewhat so i usually dont add hardware, im all about the modding of the case and not the hardware, but one day i hope to be about both of them. That 'heartogram' on the front looks a bit flimsy, like someone would knock it and it would snap. Otherwise good work. Theres some great etching there.
What a tribute! IMO that is one of the best "tribute" cases I've ever seen! Do you happen to have the pictures you engraved in JPEG or something? Cause I really want some of the ideas off of those pics! They'd also be excellent as a background for the PC..... Joe

thats such sick etching!!! im actually starting my own tribute mod to Linkin Park this month. also alot of plexi etching and stuff and stuff. hope it turns out as well as urs did for u
Yep your right there, I just checked and it is our, no idea where i got YOUR from....awell....time to strip it down n start over.
