I'd so love to have a case like this, it looks absolutely amazing.
Sadly I have no space for something this awesome, plus I don't yet have the skills to pull something like this off.

Excellent work on the build, you truly have a gift for craft work.

    Thanks antiHero!

    Thank you suenstar. :)

    Thanks man!

I'm not entirely happy with these pics, as they were pretty rushed. Once I get the monitor done, and it's properly up and running, I do a better photo shoot and will make up some wallpapers then. However, I did do a 2500 x 1600 version of the last pic with the Razer keyboard, mouse/pad. That might hold you over 'til then. :)

    Thanks KiNETiK!

The voting thing is only good for 30% of the overall score. It's probably not even worth the effort lol.

Had to wait & see what someone else had to say & that is great reply, I used to have a tendency to grab a pitch fawk & go on one about things, I'm learning to mellow out :D:hehe:.

I guess the 30% thing is to prevent vote rigging so it's a good thing imo & to be honest he has a popular mod & has been featured on the front page at the best possible time for him with this cm2011 comp voting is going on now so don't understand why do that, so greedy  L3p if you see this you greedy :p:lol:.

Glad I read about the 30% thing also as I didn't vote for this with it being massively popular & caught plenty of votes :D so didn't need the help, instead I voted for 3 underated scratch builds & 3 case mods with the 3 pc's here :) 1 vote wasn't enough for such a range of awesome mods, been spoilt with the multivote on bit-tech :D :thumb:.

Probably should be worth 5% considering how little the voting has to do with case modding. Who has the most friends, family, fellow forum members, fellow countrymen and willingness to kiss ass in public?

Nice write-up in Engadget Brian. It will be the first of many to come I'm sure.

Bod - If you want that Tron Wallpaper I posted earlier, the guy who made that Linux theme (which I'm running myself now) got it from here.

different design for a case for a pc, but I like it. It's worked as clean as always and there are some very nice details on it, like the radiator or the ssds. :thumb:

As an idea trown in the room: You could also have done (I don#t know if the tron bike has it or not, as I don't know the movies yet) fans as rims and in the middle another radiator.

Thanks Jeffrey, but it's actually not my first. They featured BSG a while back, although it wasn't as nice a writeup as this.

woot! And actually some decent comments too. My favorite one was the response to the complaint that there's no room for a monitor. He pointed out that it doesnt need one since you just get sucked into the game anyways lol.

    Sweet, thanks Ian!

My original idea was to take two Dyson air multiplier fans and use them as the wheel hubs. But upon trying to work out the logistics, it would have made the case way too large. My next idea was to incorporate two squirrel cage fans inside the tubes, but couldn't work out the motor placement in order to keep the tubes totally open. So I ended up dropping the concept altogether, and went with the curved rad idea.

I know. I was talking about Tron in the news. It has already hit many other blog sites just today. I wouldn't be surprised if you appeared on Jimmy Fallon or someplace. I'd watch that.

So I'm happy to say the wiring issues have been worked out, and its up and running. But it's now on its merry way to be shown at Computex, and I didn't get a chance to do any testing on that rad. So a temps report will have to wait until I get it back after the show. If anyone will be attending Computex at the end of the month, TRON will be on display at Nvidia's booth (and it may make an appearance on stage at some point :worried:
