I noticed a fantastic offer, whether it's any good or not is to be debated.

Overclockers have a new SSD the adata S510 120GB for a preorder price of £119.99.

If you look around for offers and use cashback sites you can get £1/Gb every now and then. My 128Gb worked out at £136.67 when Crucial had an offer on and with a discount code and then the further £7.97 off for cashback it was £128.70 all told.

    I ain't going to grumble at the 70p over £1/Gb :)

I would reckon they will have one around christmas, I got mine a few months ago now.

I happened to be after one and looked on the Crucial site (which is usually more expensive) but they had 10% (I think) knocked off all SSDs, then I hunted around for another 5% code. Even with those they still honour cashback site deals as well.

Best keep an eye out. I get emails from them so if I remember and they say something I'll let you know.

Cheers, send me a message if you find anything, i'm really looking for a great SSD at a good price, if it's a crucial M4, i'm set, especially with the new firmware.

Good price, shame it's a slow 3Gb/s model. Probably not even half the speed of an M4 6Gb/s

Darkwisdom, if you get enough posts you can have a look in the Marketplace on here as well. Quite a few new M4's were on there last week IIRC.

    Your math is back to front. It's actually 256 MB per £, or £3.90/GB :D (£3.90 = 1/0.256)
