Sorry to hear that - there are plenty of shady characters round here too - although they tend to more annoyed at the noise/heat of my farm, rather than wanting to steal it.

Argh, sometimes I get so frustrated with my computer. My main folding rig froze about 20 minutes after I left for work - the whole screen just froze, didn't even bluescreen. So for the entire day, my i7, 260 and 9600 GSO sat there doing sweet **** all. CPU was a stock too. Honestly driving me bananas as I would have smashed my PPD record if my comp had been folding.

EDIT: A MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION bluescreen. Google says its an instability issue but its at stock and my motherboard, cpu and ram is all brand new. Pretty frustrating!

I've passed 50,000 points, and I've realistically only been folding since Tuesday due to massive config problems on Sunday and Monday - Linky

    MaverickWill was taken. :(

Going to obliterate my PPD record today. My record is 14,238 in one day and I'm already over 10,000 :)

Just checked the stats out of curiosity - I've jumped over 3000 people in a week. Yowzers. I'll be in the top 1000 by Wednesday morning at this rate.

This whole points thing is remarkably addic- no, wait, I won't say it...

    EDIT: 20K PPD! Woo!

Congratulations to Lizard on 40 million, and to everyone else who has reached a milestone lately.
I am hoping to reach 6 million in the next couple of days.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys :)

Yes, all the new six-core CPUs floating about right now are all very tempting (there are more to come soon). Lots of new stuff to shake up the CPU market, which can only be a good thing.

woo! Passed 70k points! Coming up on 200 WU's too.
Shall have a dual socket 603 Server running SMP's (-bigadv?) within a couple weeks and my P4 server will be running 24/7 when I silence the beast.

EDIT: Oh and we're slowing TSC! Russia's charge. Was 8-9 Months for them to overtake, now it's coming close to 11 months.

confusis - this is best not discussed in this thread, but you won't be able to run the bigadv client on your dual Socket 603 system as it requires 8 cores. Instead, you should run the SMP CPU client with the A3 core.

Was only a small suggestion. Was bragging about 70k total points. :) (It's taken me so long to get this far!)
