Today I'm going back to Folding@home after a 3 year hiatus! My last work unit was on 2008-05-09 08:26:22, and I've changed teams, from Engadget to Bit-Tech/CPC.
Have an Octocore i7 crunching away in work and should have my new i5 2500 churning by the end of the week (once the nice man from DPD drops it off).
Yay for me saving the frickin' world!

Always feel better after a good blow :)

Welcome to the team, let us know how much the i5 2500 knocks out (is it the 'k' version ?).

My horn is being tooted for getting folding and now that I've finally understood what to and configured my machines right I'm now finally doing about 7k PPD. Drop in the ocean compared to you guys but its better than nothing.

(got my points were going up slowly when it was only being done as one thread on my 1.3 laptop!)

Folding Machine #0.5 laptop is still plugging on!
Folding Machine #1 is now online and running on a part time basis
Folding Machine #2 is still under construction

I am folding for my great grandmother who passed away two years ago and for my granddad.

I'm hoping to help out the community and the science where I can.

    30,000,000

My next, and more personal, milestone is to overtake Inpharm, who was at number 1 when I first joined the team. Then I'll have to shut down most of my machines because of the electricity bill. :sigh:
