We're shifting a ton of rendering power to folding. You should see it pop up soon under the username bit-tech.net_HQ

Few calculations and it should be about 16M PPD

Monitoring software reckons we're on 4.8m PPD. I suspect its due to the risers we use and not getting WUs on all cards.

is the passkey that big of a boost. I'd assumed it was only very minimal but I'll sort that tomorrow. 1060s. They've very economical and efficient for rendering

They are required for anything other than base credits. The science is the same either way, but willies need to be waved!

Passkey all setup so hopefully that starts giving a boost. Software reckons we're at 5.6M PPD and it looks like quite a lot of cards aren't getting units and others aren't as quick as they should be so need to look into optimising that as it's a different workload to rendering which we optimised for.

Good to get some extra support for the team :thumb:
I note the latest edition of the CustomPC mag has a short article on F@H encouraging folks to sign-up and support the work on Covid-19, so maybe that will give the team another boost.

That's great to hear. We don't have anything to do with them nowadays but glad to hear they're still into folding. Once we work out a way of setting up the machines so they're not bottlenecks we'll be really flying along

How many 1060s have you allocated to the cause @MLyons ?

I'm having a good day today, yesterday's figures were a bit off but it looks to have been corrected this morning

44 I think are in that config. Got some titan blacks, p6000s and EPYCs around but apparently our main render farm and web servers are "critical" so can't be used for folding

We're actually looking to get rid of them to go to RTX as some of our work loads can take advantage of it but we've not got around to putting them all up for sale yet.
