Start of a new year, and a new milestone achieved; 75Bn points

 

I have restarted my folding pc to keep my bedroom warm. My Ryzen 5 is getting about 76 k ppd and my RTX3070Ti about 4.1 m ppd. I am 18th in the team and on course for 2 billion points by April when I might stop because of electricity costs.
For some reason my graphics card was not folding for the first few days until I rebooted now all is working.

 

Hit 80Bn today ... on track for 100Bn before year end ...

 

Congrats on the milestone.

You must have some decent GPU's folding for that PPD.

I'm guessing HFM.NET no longer works with the new client.

I've restarted folding. Using 2 GPU's for the moment, until I see what the cost is. lolz

 

Ah was thinking of doing a little bit of this again.. but no idea my login ha.. wouldn't take long to get the same points.. did mining on 9800gt back in the day

Current Folding on 4x RTX 4070 Ti's and one 4080, and still using HFM.NET as they are all running the v7 client
Costs still expensive

I remember his rapid rise to first place in the team (August 2014)!

 

Just passed the 3Bn mark.

At current rate about a month to 4Bn. If I still fold on gaming rig.

 

Thats just over 4Bn now.

A tad too warm in the house now to run the 5090 constantly so dropping down to just the 3090 and 1080 Ti in the garage. Circa 8m to 12m PPD.

Cost has been quite a bit. Practically doubled my monthly leccy cost.

Will see how the 3090 and 1080Ti fair over the next month / weeks and will consider what I'm gonna do.
