Networks Trust Turbo pro router & wireless access point

well i have had this in its box for about a month now and one of my housemates got herself a wifi card for her laptop, so i decided to set it up so we could share the internet line.

my problem is that i have installed my card and the router and she has installed her and we can both see the router but she cant seem to access the internet though it, neither can i if i plug my adsl modem line into the back of it. no i have ran throught the set up guide and it come to a point where you have to select you connection type, there are 5 options,

obtain IP automatically (DHCP client)
fixed ip address
PPPoE to obtain IP automatically
PPPoE with a fixed IP address
PPTP

now i chose the third option and it asked me for my username and password that i use to connect to the internet with but that didnt work, so i tryed the forth one and it also asks me for my PC/Webstation address and i have no idea what this is! im with virgin.net and their help line is closed at the moment and help would be welcome while i still have my hair left!
