Hi, Just wondering if anyone had any experience with the below keyboard http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00...de=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B0059KCX0Q Really want to ditch my disgustingly awful Razer Lycosa trash for a nice new shiny mechanical keyboard
I don't have personal experience, but reports of good quality build as it is oem by Costar who also make other well known mechanical mx based keyboards like Filco, CM Storm, Mionix, etc. It is a good 'entry level' keyboard. It's only major drawback is it's non-standard physical key layout which makes after market keyset replacements more difficult. It is a fairly decent choice if you're on a budget. Another option for a similar price with a standard key layout would be the Ducky 1087 which comes in your choice of mx switch type.
I'd personally spend a bit more and go for the Corsair Vengance K60, I've got one on preorder after using one at LITS. It's an amazing keyboard...
No experience with that keyboard at all. Currently use SteelSeries 6GV2 which is mechanical, although not that cheap. AMAZING keyboard. Replaced my G11, SO SO much nicer to use. So definitely get yourself a mechanical. Anything would be better than razer lycosa. So probably should get what you're looking at. 6GV2 or pay a lil more and get the Corsair as Bloody_Pete said. That'll be a nice keyboard. Wish I could get one
I would consider a ten-key-less. Most people don't use the numpad so it would be good for space on your desk. Filco makes a cool one.
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Tt_eSPORTS/Meka/ Seems ok, bit-tech reviewed another keyboard by them and weren't that impressed as far as I can remember.
i don't know if you know this, but corsair keyboards are not 100% mechanical... "The top row keys, ESC thru Pause/Break, and the Insert thru Page Down keys are dome-switch keys. The same for the G keys on the K90." Sauce Corsair
