At the time of conception there were not any AMD laptops that could handle gameing. Plus, try upgrading a laptop! :wallbash: And security wont stop you for a laptop! :D

he can add things with his atx mobo that ur laptop cannot.. he doesnt need the ultra-portability of a laptop.. is that enough ? it's enough for me because I'm thinking about doing same kind of mod..

I, for example, travel already a few years with luggage FULL of motherboards, cards, watercooling stuff, heat sinks, and more electronic stuff
by plane. by plane from Israel to France. and back.
while EL AL is the safest airline in the world, they haven't said A WORD !
I bet they know exactly what is all this, and all the electronics stuff in luggage isnt new at all...

say, what looks more sucpicius than a PSU for someone who don't know what it is ?!?!?!?!
with the Xray they see a big box, with nothing inside (the metal cover blocks Xrays)... and many many wires connected to it :hehe:

It's been very creative all the way through. I like the way you've dealt with all the minor changes.

I know we all mod just for the sake of modding but wouldn't it be easier and safer to just get a laptop? Anyway good work :thumb: I can see you've really put time and planning (and cash) into this one.

I've dropped my laptop like 100 times in airports and travelling and never crushed the CPU or broken anything.

El Al wouldn't know what to do with a computer like that. They are too dumb not to overbook a single flight they have ever scheduled :hehe:

Perhaps you should set up an intrution option that starts a bleeping count down screensaver or LCD. That should get peoples attention? :worried:

Hey there, I look to your project here for inspiration. I ahve always wanted a protable computer, and a laptop is expensive. I figure using eBay and what not, I may be able to get a decent computer for cheap. Can I ask what the dimensions of the case you used are? The case I am bidding on may be a little bigger, which will allow for more room :D

    Regards,
