Modding turbo light

i just reseved an old gigantic tower and it has on of those cool turbo led displays on the front that used to display the mhz back when they were still in the double digits . anyway i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of something cool i could do with it. thanks

 

wire it into a fan controller, so 'turbo' is the full 12volts - and woosh fans away.

Use a 4543 instead of a 4511, since MHz displays are common anode.
Check its datasheet to know how to wire it.
