Graphics Turbulence

    I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but it seems that theres some sort of turbulence on the image in my sisters monitor. Like certain pixel lines jitter and shift to the left or right rapidly. I'm not sure what part may be the problem, so heres the setup:

    El cheapo Kogi LCD monitor 14"
    ATI Radeon 7000?

    I wan't sure if it would be in the video card, monitor or video cable. I'm pretty sure the video cable is in both the monitor and the graphics card tight. Is the monitor going? Is the graphics card bad? Am I just missing something?

    Check the resolution and refresh rate its running at. If the monitor is running above spec it could cause problems.
    For example: running 800x600@85hz when its rated for 800x600@60hz

    can you take a photo of the screen and post it?would better help to find the fault.

    prob overheating...try an clean the HSF or change it for a aftermarket vga cooler...like zalmans or VGA silencer.

    i had a similar prob with my old 4200....

    wouldnt have thought so as rad7000 puts out little heat,can be passively cooled too.
