I recently bought a indoor TV aerial for my computer with a TV card, it worked and it was situated on the right of the computer, but I managed to break it, so I took it back to the shop and got another , different aerial. However... Since I bought it the computer has froze 4 times (never happened before) in a space of a few hours. I couldnt figure it out until I moved my aerial to another part of the room (for another reason), and since I havent had any computer problems. So I guess its the aerial causing interference... But, doesn't the FCC standards say that a product MUSTN'T cause interferance to other devices? I think this does, so do you think I should do something about this company - cos I wouldnt be happy if my hardware eventually started effing up due to the interferance.
Products are classified under groups of FCC rules: Most of the electronics I have seen are under part 15: This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interferance and (2) this device must accept any interferance recieved. including interferance that may cause undesired operation.
