Displays TV and PC Same Time

I would like to create a media PC, but one of the requirements is that the TV or Sky is on at the same time as the PC. Is it possible to route the Sky which uses scart, through the media PC, and play the Sky feed through something liek VLC Player or some form or display thingy?

If you know what i mean?

I was thinking about it and was wondering if there is soe sort of cable/card where I might be able to plug scart into USB or something ^_^ lol but don;t worry about it. I do some more googleing.

Yeah I'm going to just get a TV Card and some sort of Scart to some funny plug that TV Card accepts and play it with VLC Player or something like that ^_^

 

SCART to s-video or composite is what you're after.

 

I so want that for my comp, but it's too much money.
I might aswell just run a digibox :/
