    Hi

Anyone got any tips for a good quality tuner, preferably to get digital terrestrial, but not essential. Just upgraded from XP, and decided since Vista media centre user interface is so much better designed than the FreeView box's one on my desk next to me, i thought I could do away with it. Preferably using PCIe x1 interface.

    Cheers

The Terratec Synergy 2400i is a dual DVB-T tuner on PCI-e, comes with a remote and stuff too. :D

The Hauppage Nova-T-500 works flawlessly with vista MC, I've got it in mine. Vista downloads all the drivers via windows upgrade.

Got the same card in my XP MCE PC and can highly recommend the card. However, if for some reason you can't get any sound from TV, download AC3Filter. That happened to me and my mate but neither of us could understand why.

Suffice to say it was a long 12 hours of Googling to find a way to fix it :).

    I also recommend the Nova-T 500.
    I've got a non 500 model and it's awesome.
