Seems fairly simple, i do realize, but it is a dillemma for me. I had a shuttle SB51G, and inside it is a MX440. How would i manage to get it to output thru s-video to a tv without a monitor hooked up? First time Nvidia user here.... figures lol.

I have owned nothing but nvidia and also some ati cards. My gf2mx I had to set the drivers on clone and set the tv as primary. And my Fx5200 and 5900 and they boot into a tv out conection when the tv out is the only thing conected and the tv is on.

Just plug in your tv (svideo is what I would recomend) and just boot up the pc you should get a boot up screen like you do on your regular monitor. Then after that its a driver thing.

Tried it actually, got no signal to the tv at all. When i hooked it back up to a monitor, it refused to show me a picture in windows.

My old GF2MX didnt do what jaguar is suggesting. I had to boot it with a monitor, enable TV-out clone the screens, connect the tele, disconenct teh monitor and everything should work.

You gotta hook up a monitor and a TV, then you leave the TV plugged in and the settings will keep until you unplug the TV - it looses its detection and it resets it to default (no tv on).
