Hm........ I'm not sure if this is really the place for this...... but a friend just dropped by and he mentioned he had a fairly new 32 inch tv that wont turn on, that he ended up replacing.... I being the fixer type person I am said hand it over so I'll be grabbing it this weekend..... anyone know how difficult tv repair is for the person with brain cells that actually uses them?
Just watch out for the capacitators.. They pack a punch. And if it's not a flatscreen avoid the cable from the back of the tube. It can kill you if your heart is not up to it. Otherwise you will get a severe shock and most likely have a muscle-spasm sending you a good 6-9 feet in a direction away from said apparatus. Happy fixing.
lol ok, my hearts upto it but I dont wanna take chances lol, any recommendations on discharging that cable? just throw a ground wire into the soil and then clip a lead on lol?
Is it an lcd? Make and model? Googling for trouble shooting advice, repair manuals, common faults, etc will help
