    Hiya fellas

I am looking for a TV tuner card for my PC. It needs to be DVB-C and Mpeg4 compatible so I can record HD shows sent here in Denmark. I do not intend to watch programs using the TV tuner directly so a remote is not a requirement.

I am really quite clueless in this area so any help would be appreciated regarding brands, quality and general ease of use.

It has to have a program guide so I can schedule recordings.

    Thanks in advance

This podcast may help slightly, it talks about using DVB-C with Windows Media Center in Denmark. Starts at 6:23: http://thedigitallifestyle.com/cs/t...e-media-center-show-223-anders-fomsgaard.aspx.

It's old but it is the most specific thing I could find, DVB-C tuners don't seem to exist in the UK, except for one which primarly for DVB-T2.

I use Media Center to record TV, very easy to use and has a good EPG. It will even wake up the computer to record if it is in standby or hibernation, most of the time.

EDIT: Just found this http://www.digital-everywhere.com/en/alcms/index.php?sid=1190404644, not sure if it works in Denmark though.

Check out the Happauge website, their tuners are pretty kick-ass.

I looked at their website but was somewhat confused at first - and then I couldn't find anything that was Mpeg4 certified.
