Anybody installed a Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP tuner card on an XP installation? The driver is displaying a dialog titled GFX Outrider Setup, and the message is Not supported 0,0. I'm pretty sure I have the latest driver from Leadtek. Any ideas?
It sounds like you have the wrong driver, do you have the disc that came with the card? It should have a working (albiet outdated) driver on it. Install it first, and see if it recognises the card.
Thanks. The PCI card is firmly slotted home. The driver CD came with the card. I also tried using the driver directly from the Leadtek website. XP is auto-detecting the hardware. But when I choose the <Specifiy a location> option in the Hardware Wizard, I just get a message saying <Hardware could not be installed because the right software could not be found.> I can see there are .sys and .inf files in the folder I specify. I have also updated the Intel Extreme graphics drivers, without any difference. Any more suggestions greatly appreciated.
Are you using "I will choose the driver to install" followed by "have disk" method? I always end up using it whenever I've installed mine (very similar model). You generally have to go through device manager forcing each component on this way, it installs all sorts of media devices (audio crossbar, video capture etc.) they all need you to manually locate drivers and files etc.
