Hello you guys at bit-tech. Ive got a little problem that has been bothering me for a while, wondering if you guys could help. I have a Hauppauge WinTv Go, with my A8N-SLI premium. Ive had a problem capturing video with my tv tunner for a while. I can capture, but the audio gets out of synk with the video (very noticeable after about 15 minutes). Ive used several programs to capture, all give me the same results (WinTV2000, VirtualDub, and a few others). I seem to remember being able to capture video with my older computer using the same tunner without this problem using wintv2000 (software comes with the card). The tunner has a audio out wich i link into my line in on the onboard sound that comes with my A8N-SLI. So the audio is recorded by the sound card. I was wondering if my problem is caused by a timming issue with the onboard audio and my pci wintv card. Any suggestions? Thx
Its probably due to that cable. The best thing you can do is try to see if theres an option to resync the audio with the Hauppage software. Or contact Hauppage support.
