Electronics Two power supplys in series?

    I need 24v with atleast 2A current, i have a couple of pc power supplys sittings arround that can deliver more then 2amps on the 12v rail.

    Is it safe to connect the two powersupply's 12v rail in series to get 24v?
    on one power supply connect the ground from the molex to the yellow on another, then take the 24v from ground and yellow?

    Is this safe, or am i going to run into trouble if i try this?

    No, you'll be shorting the first PSU's 12V output to ground unless the second PSU has an isolated mains supply. Just get a 24V PSU.

    Hm.... I noticed that ATX has -12v aswell. Is it possible to get 24v out of one power supply with the -12 aswell as +12 without shorting anything?

    Edit: Nevermind, i noticed that the -12v rail doesnt supply enough current anyways.

    Anyone know where i can buy myself a 24v powersupply that will supply atleast 2amps of current?
    In canada preferably.
