Right before I spend my Ill-gotten gains on a nice shiny sn41g2 does
the kit come with any heat transfer compound? I tried looking on the
shuttle site but couldn't tell for sure. If so is it any good, or should I
use something more up market like artic silver? I'll be using a barton
    2500+ at stock clock speed.

Has any one got a pinout for the parallel printer header so I can make
my own cable? Or a link to a cheaper cable as almost 10GPB for the
shuttle brand one (PC8) seems a bit of a rip off.

    Cheers :thumb:

Yep they do come with thermal compound. I don't know how good it is tho, as I've never used it.

Can't help you on the pinout tho.

comes with some white gunk, works ok but artic silver is better...
    Parallel port is so 80's...

Think pinout is in manual, check shuttle's site, the mainboard is FN41 for the manual so you can check. - bought one from www.microdirect.co.uk so could use eprom programmer with one so are available built.

Thanks for the replies, I think i'll try the white gunk first and if temps are
on the high side I'll change to artic silver.

Penrhos, I agree but I need one for a pic programmer :D and a cacky inkjet.
I checked the mobo manual for a pin out and the only info was where it was
located. Looks like i've got to buy one.

    Cheers :thumb:
