Cooling Tygon or Danger Den 1/2" ID ClearFlex Hose

    Looking to re pipe my system in 1/2" whats the difference and why would one be used instead of the other.

    Also how does this compare? Danger Den UV Blue or Green 1/2" ID ClearFlex Hose.

    Either/or would work fine. I dont have experience with either one of these tubing brands because I use the cheap hardware store kind, but both should be able to fit your needs. The tygon has a large wall thickness that allows it to bend easily without kinking, but if uv color is what you want, I would go with the clearflex, because this eliminates the need to add uv dye to your water. Both are probably comparable in "anti-kink-ness" :p

    Tygon is alot more transparent than Danger Den tubing, if you're running UV dye i'd go for Tygon :thumb:

    i have got some Danger Den UV Blue in my set up and i can say its nice and flexible. it dosent glow a whole lot though but it looks nice enough.
