Trying to run from cd to check it out but end up with vertical coloured lines on monitor and frozen PC. No help on ubuntulinux site.Any ideas,correct download used.

So i did it a while ago and just remembered this thread! it wouldnt load up on my laptop, dunno why, got so far an then just stopped, didnt try it on the server since i lent the screen out, and this PC never gets turned off. evAr. i`ll try them and maybe try them tomorrow after college on this rig. ordered some of the CD,s too.. (Cant complain, its free) Mike
hmmm i downloaded live as well it downloaded as an .iso.temp i tried to burn it as an image and it gave me errors so i renamed it to just .iso and extracted the files as it also wouldnt burn as an image and just burned teh extraced files. Still no workie... anyone kno w how to get this stupid thing going?
Cant help with that this end, Mine downloaded as a .iso and burnt to CD with Nero Burning ROM first time. Just order the CD,s imo..
