Setting up a file server which needs to run azureus, would use another torrent program if I could

I don't want the gui to run on bootup which is easy enough.

But I can't get azureus to load on startup with out causing problems.

    Tried following this: http://phillstechstuff.blogspot.com/2007/01/howto-get-azureus-to-start-at-boot-and.html

But it just causes it to hang just before you enter your user name (console) so I have to press ctrl+alt+del and enter recovery mode to remove the script.

Any idea's on whats stopping this from working?
As if I load azureus in the console it works fine (although I cant get it to run in the background)

It should start right before you can enter your username, since you made an init script for it.

It should but something is causing a problem somewhere. I have left it for 10 mins at the screen before it allows you to enter the username and nothing.

I think it might have something to do with the fact I can't run the azureus program in the background using something like

    java -jre /home/nick/azureus/Azureus2.jar --ui=console > /dev/null

It just loads it then dosen't let me use any other commands than that of the azureus console.
