Currently have Windows 10 on half a 2TB SSD, with the rest of the drive unallocated. Will Ubuntu be happy to install on the same drive, using the currently unallocated space and, play well with a dual boot? Want to use a dual boot whilst I learn my way around Linux and, get everything working, prior to future defenestration. I really must get on with this but, procrastination is my special talent...
Short answer: yes. Longer answer: yes until Windows decides to overwrite the boot sector and you lose the ability to boot into Linux until you boot from a Live CD and reinstall grub (which, to be fair, is pretty easy.)
