Drink it! it'll set you free!
I'll get my coat...
So, was it any good?
Supports what I've said for ages - Ubuntu + PCs = failure
A soft drink would work about as well on my desktop as Ubuntu did.
Nah, sadly not my friend text me it.. He's in reading uni if that helps lol
Yeah, there's a non-profit coffee shop in my town which sells this stuff. I still haven't stumped up the guts to get a can and ask the proprietor if they can stock a few cds or something...
lol if serious, so naive.
A fizzy can of sudo?
Sig'd and +rep
What? I had hoary hedgehog running on a 1998 bondi blue imac. You must fail at installing and following instructions. 233 Mhz 64 meg of ram beast!
Beat you to it OP, found this 2 years ago in our Physics cafe. Just a shame it's crap.
They only do a grep flavour?
We've got a fairtrade shop here where it's 60p/can
The flame suit, it does nothing!!
Seriously, I've recently switched to an all ubuntu set up for work, and I've never looked back. I'd go as far as to say it was EASIER to install than Win XP (never tried installing vista or 7, so can't vouch for those)
I'm fairly sure that when I get my new file server for home finished, it's going to run Ubuntu. Being inexperienced in the field does not dissuade me at all, because my visual programming lecturer at Uni knows his way around Ubuntu like I know my way around Windows and has been writing programs for it for decades
Another Ubuntu household here. Desktop. server, HTPC & netbook.
BTW, 10.04 Lucid Lynx - Purple is the new brown!
I was too scared to do that. My server rocks Vista
This summer, I shall investigate.
face to palm. seriously.
Yup. I already had it, so I used it. It's just a file server.. it's not doing anything exotic, and it serves only 2 PCs. Any OS can do that.
Our SU shop has been selling them for almost 2 years, actually doesnt taste too bad
