4 times in a row!!! it's not a software issue!!
Using it last night (it first started last night) whilst plugged in. Shutdown.

Now this morning, on battery power (~1:24mins left) it shutdown.

But even worst is that when I go to switch it back on, it keep shutting down again within a second.. it did that four times in a row until I left it for a minute and turned it on again. Now i'm writing this.

Try a PMU reset, this is the Power Management Unit. If not, faulty battery or connections, or something else to do with that. Is it overheating? The mooing fom MB's and MBP's are from a central fan near the monitor, that turns on and off every second.

just been on the Apple Discussion forums, apparently, i'm not the only one with this issue.

It seems pretty widespread with quite a few people experience the same random shutdown of their machines.

I think it's time to consider an Apple Care upgrade next time I fly to HK.

I know with my mbp after I bought new third party memory i started having that happen but that is a fairly common thing with most types of ram and the intel macs.

Put your os X disc in it while booting and hold -see in your manual- button in.
There should be a bunch of tests on there, diagnosing etc..

well.. it's happened a fair few times, so now Apple have sent a courier around for tomorrow and that they'll get it fixed straight away as they said it's obviously a hardware issue and they're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

They are also going to do something about my moo-ing and to change the palm rests if need be.

not much on mine, but I said it anyway because it's a documented issue, so they'll take a look and if there are signs that it's discolouring, they change it I guess.

Apple are usually pretty good when it comes to fixing things.. their stuff breaks down just as much as anything else out there (bar toshibas in my experience) but when it comes to fixing issues, they are the best in my experience.
