Nope. UKIP is dead. It is never coming back. Once the electorate realises that there are no Brexit unicorns, they'll be pissed at the Tories for balling it up. When it should have been focusing on preparing for the negotiations, Theresa May instead blew their majority on a vanity/party management project and wasted precious time. I'm not in touch enough to work out who it the likely next conservative leader. Problem is that the current lot seem a bit second rate.
If the conservatives stay in governement they may be blamed for bad things happening. If labour are somehow in then they're holding the baby.
Davis. Bring back Portillo! If the exit poll i correct Tories would remain in minority with very shaky DUP support (maybe UUP) and labour would find it impossible to form a coalition.
The particularly stupid/arrogant thing is that she rushed to call this before the boundry changes went through. They had the chance to wait until the current bias to Labour (due to demographic changes, the way seat boundries are defined is independently controlled, not doen by the government) was sorted out but she got greedy.

Sure, but she won't want to get into the negotiations beforehand. The thing is the the UK was a net contributor the EU Budget, so with the UK gone, Germany will have to pony up more and that isn't popular.
While I agree that it was the wrong decision, do you remember the results of the recent council elections where the Tories gained a lot? So maybe her confidence wasn't completely unfounded. Either way, I think it will probably come down to who picks up the seats in the wake of the SNP downfall.
