I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but does anyone know of a UK company, preferably in the greater London area, that does more, erm, 'adventurous' powder coating? I'm thinking of the type of thing you see on American hotrod show cars: deep candy purple with metallic fleck and clear topcoat.

Another thing. Can anyone foresee any problems with the small holes (3mm) on the Lian Li PC-V1000? I'd still like the holes to be well defined, even if the edges get slightly rounded with the coating.

    Thanks in advance!

I think you need to be looking at a car body paint shop.

Tip: find out what colours they are doing on what days. With luck they will have some paint left over after a job which, rather than throwing it down the sink, they will be happy to use up on doing your case. Saves the pennies. :thumb:

  3. Good idea nexxo, I might look into that myself

Could be the type of place you are looking for.
They've done plenty of flips and chromatic jobs.
They customise work for some of the major online retailers.

Nexxo: nice idea - there are a few car repair centres around where I live. Although I suspect that candy purple (like the colour of the purple one in Quality Street chocolates) won't be a colour they do too often :)

Rimmer: Thanks for the recommendation - I'm looking at their site now. Just the thing I'm after... hopefully their prices won't be too steep.
