I'm the Bit-Tech member who ordered a trade amount from him.. order totalled near £100.. over a MONTH! yes a month had passed when he said the order would take 2 days to get to me so i requested paypal to refund me..

They only gave me £50 so i am short £50.. don't worry though.. i'm taking this to the police . I e-mailed him last week giving him 5 days to refund me otherwise the police will be informed.. he read the e-mail.. no reply so police.. here i come.

He is gonna have a nice surprise soon when some cops come knockinh on his door :naughty:.

Someone definitely has to pay him a visit. Surely something can be done about it? The people hosting the site to him must know something is up...

Isn't the fact that it's a rip off of the sunbeam site enough for his ISP to shut the site down?

Also, I'm surprised that ppl are not talking about letting the police know.

Maybe bit-tek can start a voluntery approved small supplier list? bit-tek won't be liable of course, but just acting as a go between. I dunno. Maybe a supplier has to have a valid address in UK, send a letter to them with code word or something to verify address, contact numbers etc. Won't be fool proof, but it'd help.

Ooooh, how about we threaten Paypal about taking this incident to somthing like BBCnews and say that it will put paypal in a bad light, as well as on-line ordering, as they don't do anything to stop frausters of help victims of fraud?

    Carl,

It was just some blue LEDs and some thumbscrews.... I was gonna order my Rheobus and a couple of clear cases (for friends) from them... so could have been a lot worse...
