When did this turn into an interrogation? You know his political stance, you know his hatred of racism, inequality, prejudice .... AND you know, if you believe him, he doesn't sit idly by when he encounters them. Kevin doesn't have to impart further information or justification for his actions to any of us, least of all you who has displayed continued hostility and suspicion towards him tbqf. One man's vote alone will not change that which is abhorrent to him in this so called democracy, You've heard of standing up for principles you believe in? A very straightforward example for you, for I know how you like to link to old data: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/education/politics/g9/ A passive vote would not have delivered what they achieved, after all they ccouldn't vote could they.
Please do, you're holding the rest of us back Well, to be honest, the NZ and Oz guys like british plumbing and building... Then again they've got 10.000 miles or so to the next country with decent plumbing, so how should they know.
You did see the words I directed at YOU didn't you? If you can't reply to words that were directed to YOU, Why do you start interjecting into dialogue that is meant for OTHERS? Don't bother answering that, I already know the answer. EDIT: If you are going to quote me, Try not to use only the parts that suit your objective. I say things as a complete meaning, Whether they are directed at you or not.
To be fair, Carrie, you didn't hear the Suffragettes complain about rough treatment (and G0UDG also only mentioned it to illustrate what sort of party he believes UKIP to be). They knew what they were getting into, and they accepted it as part of the whole standing up for their principles thing. Now, shall we draw a line under the personal anecdotes and disagreements and go back to the debate at hand? That would be grand.
*checks in two days later* Oh, it's still a flame war! Nice. On-topic, has anyone ever come across an apolitical sketch/summary of UKIP's policies and the problems with them? I've avoided trying to comment because I honestly don't know much about UKIP beyond their eponymous objection to the EU and open borders. Some people are saying they're racist fascists in disguise, others are saying they're the next big party with common sense, representative policies. I wouldn't trust their website's description of their own policies for a second, but all the third-party rebuttals seem to be strongly left-wing smear campaigns, which I hardly trust either.
Thats part of the problem. They still are largely a single issue populist party with the EU and migration as the targets. The rest of their policies are fuzzy. Just look up the wiki article for a summary.
