Ebuyer seem to be about to launch what could be the ultimate budget case..., it looks pretty good, black interior, bottom mounted PSU (usually only on much more expensive cases), tool less 5.25 and 3.5 bays... 3 120mm fan bays and if you feel up to modding, space for maybe 2 more (1 top, 1 bottom) and what's the price? Well, I suggest you jaw drop now to save the effort then clicky

I was thinking about the Coolermaster HAF but after seeing this I changed my mind, I know it doesn't come close to it in airflow but how much airflow do I need? I spend most time online, or on MS Word, Excel etc... as far as gaming, WoW and Civ 4 arn't that tasking... it seems like the perfect case for me, can anyone see something I'm not cos to me its almost perfect if a little lacking in cooling

Puts the Antec 300 to shame, almost half its price, oh and a window mod is in order

Think I'll stick to the Cooler Master Elite 330 for an extra £3 as my budget case of choice.

My daughters PC is housed in one and I can't fault it, for a mid range pc.

I have a casecom case before and the build quality left alot to be desired and I lost alot of skin working in it, unlike the Elite 330.

Bottom mounted psu doesn't interest me all that much either as I've never had any problems with top mounted cases.

The Elite is a brilliant case I've heard and yes I know some budget cases can have sharp edge problems but that problem is fixable with some of this

Bottom mounted PSUs are better because it allows you to use the top for exhaust fans, so you can have more exhaust and thus negative airflow, top isn't a problem but when modding putting exhaust fans at the top will make more difference especially when you can hot swap some drive bays anyway for more intake if you want

Looks like a rip of the Antec 300!

Seems ok for the cash on a tight budget build although like peeps have said above CoolerMaster Elite would be my choice for the few extra £'s :)

Antec 300, best compromise between money and performance.

I got the elite 330 and it cut my thumb.. it slipped when i was installing PSU (forgot to put Mobo Backplate in) was holding it through there and it slit almost to the bone.. had a few stitches then :( anyway ontopic that case looks nice If i had to buy a case now i would probs get that and throw the tooless crap out like i did to my elite 330..

Of course. But I can tell you that the 300, is not a quiet case, far from it in fact. But in terms of performance, it's near perfect. And the side panel is begging for a window upgrade.

Coolermaster Elite 330 is an amazing £30 case. Got it with my gf's rig which im on right now, it was pretty sharp inside. But still, very nice case and looks decent too.

I agree with Elton - the Antec 300 is the way to go - 42 quid on e-buyer (with a free anti-static mat thing to collect fluff with).

However, feature filled it is not, there's no fan filters and no cable management. Plus the case isn't for ATI cards(not being a bigot, but having your PCI-E cables stick into the HDD cage is a no-no.

That said for the price you pay, you get a windtunnel for cheap. To sweeten the deal in newegg, they're selling the 300 with all fans installed. And they all have blue LEDs!!

Er, there are washable fan filters on the front 2 fans fitted as standard (and they're not expensive to fit to the others). I take the point about cable management (I drilled a couple of holes in the bottom near the PSU for cable routing) but I'm not sure what you mean by the case not being for ATI cards - PCI-E cables into the HDD cage?

Newegg doesn't deliver to the UK either :waah:

Well, if you've ever tried to fit a HD4870, you'd understand..

The card barely touches the HDD rack(not really a cage) and the PCI-E cables almost hit the fan.
