    Mastodon, mainly because they can't be overrated. They're as good as bands get.
    Dragonlord - Solid sweish death
    Wuthering Heights - Pirate metal the way it should be (take THAT, Alestorm)
    Allegaeon - New Gotherburg-death band... fromt he states. REALLY good.

    I went from thinking they were fairly good pre-Crack The Skye to utterly-freaking-amazingly-awesome when they released it. Love that album.

    Also, seeing them live and them playing Crack The Skye from start to finish makes them stupendous.

    I have to agree about Mastodon. Crack the Skye is a monumental creation by them.

    For me, recently i think it would be the Mad Capsule Markets. Whilst they are no more, they are simply awesome.

    Escape the Fate WITH RONNIE RADKE

    Now there just another generic long haired emo band that has a singer who looks more and more like a girl by the second with Ronnie they had such a different sound to them
