I started unicycling about a month ago. I am now working on getting to a level 2 on the IUF skill levels, and I had a random thought. This random thought was inspired by me just going out unicycling at around 2 AM (I'm a weird person, don't ask), and some people saw me. They came over, and me and the friend I was with showed them our skillz. Them being amazed made me wonder, "how many people can actually manage to unicycle?" I am capable of bunny hopping, riding down stairs, basic stuff like that, but my question to you is, how many of you can actually manage to do it? P.S. Bit-tech staff, if you see this post, make a "Random" tag. For stuff just like this.
I tried but MAN that thing is hard! When you see someone doing it well it looks so easy. But I couldn't stay on long enough to move forward 2 meters.
I hear that. When I started I thought "Pfft, I'm gonna show this n00b up!" (that n00b being the friend who introduced me to unicycling) Falling down 10 seconds after that thought told me otherwise.
I'd love to unicycle. I've been blessed with good balence in my life so far so I an't imagine it'd be too hard. Where on earth to you get them?
I find most bike shops will order them in for you if you ask. www.unicycle.com is apparently quite good, but I have yet to order from them.
I can't do it at all. I imagine if I had my own, I would have a better chance of being able to do it though.
The thing I don't like about buying it off Ebay is that you might be getting one with bad quality spokes, beat-up tires, scratched up in general, and the seller just calls it "well-used". I prefer to see things when I buy them.
I got one for Christmas and never even taken it from the box. Thanks for reminding me I had it. I,m off to break a limb
Well, I'd love to get you guys a video, but sadly I bent the tire on my unicycle last night while going down some stairs. So, that option is out until I get a new one, which will HOPEFULLY be within about 2 weeks.
my cousin brought his out last week, i played around on it a bit. it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to pick up, i made it to the end of my driveway the first time i got on it. my brother really learned fast on it, he was going on the singletrack by the end of the week
I uesd to be able to ride one, but it's been a good three years since I last used one. I never took it seriously enough to practce it though.
Well, no video for those who want it for a while more. I foolishly crashed on my bike about an hour after I made my last post. Sprained my wrist, minor concussion, incredibly sore back. Hopefully I'll be in a better shape soon and have a new unicycle soon. I also learned one thing from this crash: typing with one hand sucks.
I have a unicycle and at one point could just about ride around my garden, kinda gave up after that though. Must start learning again!
ive never had the oppertunity 2 have a go on one, id love to give it a go and have a laff on one tho, id even wear a clown costume
