    Hey everyone^^b

Well,I was just thinking, but, is there anyway possible for a ATi Radeon X800 Pro 256MB 256-Bit AGP8x to be unlocked, and if it's any good as an overclocker?

I'll post the information that I think is needed in order to see if it's unlockable.

    Catalyst Version: 5.5+
    Device ID: 4A49
    Chip Type: R420
    Memory Size: 256MB
    Memory Bus Width: 256-Bit
    Active Pipelines: 12
    Default GPU Clock: 475MHz
    Default Memory Clock: 450MHz (2x)

I used ATi Tool to figure this out, and I thought these would be the most important things to figure out if it's unlockable/how good of an overlocker :eyebrow:

If it's not un-lockable and a bad overclocker, oh well, I guess I'll just have to choose my video cards more wisely next time, eh? ;)

EDIT: Ok, I got screenshots as of the post below, but they do not say what the other threads does :/ theres some stuff missing.

    Unlock 2

    Unlock 1

If you need more screenshots of anything else, just let me know please. :thumb:

Grab a screeny of ATI tool as the guy in this thread did, that'll tell us if you can unlock or not...

Overclocking wise, you'll be fine :) Its hard to tell how far you'll get unitl you try tbh, since every card is different
