https://wiki.unrealengine.com/Recommended_Hardware My nephew wants to get into building games when he is older. He is 15 and is doing graphic design etc. I showed him the c++ course I just signed up for (https://www.udemy.com/unrealcourse/) and he wants to do it to. He only has a lappy and so I am looking to build up a cheap rig for him to do the course on. Graphics card not an issue nor ram but as for the build I was looking at a 2500k but boards are hard to come by. Not fussed about overclocking it. Do you think we could getaway with an i3 if we went a bit newer ?
Well I can tell you for a start a G3258 ain't enough... I've been wanting to get my head around Unreal Engine 4 but it just runs like a bag of spanners on my PC. It's unusably bad.
I might have a 1155 board about that fits the purpose Would a DH67CL suit? No overclocking and No I/O shield but would let go for reasonable money. Let me know and will stick a thread up in MP.
Gary. Pretty sure I have some fans you can have for postage here if you need them. I *think* I have two of those power cool fans in blue. One is missing the rubber though (though I may find it). Any way yeah, if you need some 120s LMK. I may have an old Quadro too.
