Just by an off chance I noticed the voltage levels thing on SpeedFan. Two in particular caught my eye

    +12v 9.86v
    VCC1.5v 0.74v

Is it normal for these two to drop so much? Especially as VCC1.5v has almost halved, I know they are never really exactly what they are supposed to be but they seem unusually low, theres no instability or anything and I'm not running any daft hardware off the 12v line.

I'd check the reading with a multimeter, and if on the low side I'd think about a new PSU to be on the safe side.

Yeah, that 12 volt rail is way below ATX specifications. Either something's not being read right, or it's about to die. What does BIOS read for voltages? I'd get a new PSU to be on the safe side.

Speedfan reports my +12V as between 1.5V and 5.5V depending on the processor temperature.

I believe the technical term is "bug".

Is your computer running? If "Yes! :D" then Speedfan is wrong.

...or things may start to crash real soon...

I would double check with a multimeter if I were you.

A virtual cookie to the one that knows where the term "bug" comes from. :)

A myth. It was the technicians saying "Bugger!" ;)

Get a trial of Everest or Sandra, they usually give more believable results on newer hardware. Or just look in BIOS.

I thought bugs was a reference from the film Pi (π however you want to spell it), maybe thats just me wanting it to be.

Anyway, I checked the BIOS, the voltages are quite reasonable there, I will put it down to speedfan being innacurate. The reason I didnt check the bios in the first place was I turned off USB support (no idea why) then broke my PS/2 keyboard and could no longer get at it, did a hard CMOS reset last night, solved the problem and gave me better overclocking tools than Overdrive :)
