Had a few days off work so I decided to get this thing up and running. No real problems to speak of (DVD rom drive covers are bindind and need a trim and no HD or POWER ON leds, flip the leads?). I have on worked on that, just installing software (3Dmark03= 6048). Check out a few "no-flash" pictures. I hate to "toot my own horn" but the pictures don't do it justice. I could not be happier with the outcome. A big thank-you goes out to G-gnome and his Orac (that was the reason I started this project) also Coorz and his Plexeon. http://server5.uploadit.org/files/jeffrey9-running.jpg http://server5.uploadit.org/files/jeffrey9-running2.jpg MS
Thx and congratz for having your rig up and running. I assume it's not finished yet ? Got some daylight pics of the insides?
No, Still working software. Inside is messy, I need to work on it. I am having problems with my MATRIX ORBITAL (not the display but the software), I know this guy is "friend" of this site, but the LCDC software is buggy. His display is great, but without solid software____I have a expensive clock. Also the internal USB cable he sells is "just long enough" and this is a mid-tower case. Please add a few inches dude... MS
Here's a few daylight pictures. Like i said needs work. There is less room inside the case than i invisioned when i started. http://server5.uploadit.org/files/jeffrey9-inside1.jpg http://server5.uploadit.org/files/jeffrey9-inside2.jpg MS
Mmm, LCDC works fine in my Plexeon. Only probs come when i switch of the LCD when LCDC is running, otherwise i had zero problems with it. Spot on about the internal USB cable. Luckily i didn't bought it, i just soldered two cables together, also barely long enough.
lcdc is a great peice fo software, what plugins are you using? it tends to be some of the 3rd party ones that cuased any issues i had.
Only MBM. I got LCDC reading MBM correctly now, it was a mater of changing settings in MBM not LCDC. I also had the LCDC virtual display stop working, but it's working ok now. But I have no idea how to get the dallas one wire probe working, LCDC finds it, lists it, but nothing shows up on the display. Do you need to build a screen to make the thing work. The manual is not much help.
Not used the dallas probe, its not on my lcd. You will need to show the probe reading on a screen yes.
Yes, that is what I want to do. I have a reply on the LCDC forum from Matt Augier, I am going to see if I can figure this thing out with his info.
I am in business, I just needed to be pointed in the right direction. My temp probe works great. MS http://server5.uploadit.org/files/jeffrey9-running3.jpg
I was able to get my POWER ON and HDD leds working, I did indeed hook the wire clip up backwards. Now to "clean up" the cables/wires inside, but so far so good. http://server5.uploadit.org/files/jeffrey9-running4.jpg
