I just got a new camera and I know that some have been displeased with the quality of the pictures I have taken in the past... or lack there of. I have taken pictures of my 3 favorite projects I have worked on recently with my new camera and will provide a short description of each. Each image is a link to the same image in a higher resolution. Enjoy! Project: Apple HDD Reader / Enclosure This project was designed to allow me to read the HDD's used in 3rd and 4th generation iPods through a usb interface. The drives eject using an eject button and slip right into the dock. Worklog Project: IDEpod This project was designed around an apple iPod 3g with busted HDD. The aim was to create a usable interface on the iPod to connect desktop drives. Worklog Project: Xodus Amp The point of this project was to replace my aging amplifier in my room with a more modern one with 4 channel audio support and an lcd readout for winamp and system stats driven by lcdsmartie. Sorry about the pictures. My webserver had a DNS change and it will take a day or two for it to propagate over to your specific ISP. In the meantime I have linked directly to the images by the Server's IP address. The pictures in my other threads wont come back until after the changes. @dougedey, The amp actually barely gets warm when I used it with my home setup. When used in my car with speakers that are 4ohm @ 25 watt it gets quite warm. I was actually surprised when it got warm in my car because it never gets hot on my desk.
Where is the Touchpad mod? Any news on that one? Anyway nice pics! Did Santa bring you a nice Camera or what?
I almost forgot about the touchpad altogether. I need to dig that out and do something with it. Expect updates on that soon. As for project IDEpod I am still trying to source a busted iPod 3g so I can finish the project. Yes santa heard the outcry over my pictures taken with a razr and brought me an 8mp camera. Its not the best on the market, but a definite upgrade over my 1.3mp razr.
