Other Updating Moto G gen1

My mum is delighted with her Gen 1 Moto G that I bought from @Wakka on the MP, and I see that one of the other buyers has updated theirs.
This one showed 'no updates available' when I went into the setup.
What am I missing? How do I get the updates atht are seemingaly available?

Sorry dude, should have given you a heads-up! There's an app in the Play Store called "Motorola Update Services". Install that, go look for the updates and they should show up

 

Aha, that brilliant thanks. I'd never have come up with that!

 

I found that all I needed to do was to let the latest Play Store update install and then the updates flowed after that up to and including Marshmallow although it took a few hours for them to appear.

 

Thanks guys, I have updated the Play Store and "MUS" and it's now found the Lollipop update, which is downloading at the moment.

My mum is delighted with it, and I bought a cover and 3 toughened glass screen protectors for £3.50 on ebay, so it's an all round bargain
