    Hey all,

    First off. Hardware:
    i7 2600K OC'd to 4.6Ghz
    2x GTX 560Ti

I fold 24x7 on this rig so I want to make it run cooler.

I have a CM HAF-X with a 1.140 EK Rad on the back and a 2.140 Phobya G-Changer in the top. Right now my idle water temp is 26C with the AC set to 22 in the room and 30C with the AC off. When folding, my water temp is right around 36C.

The question is, Will a 3.120 rad in the top give me much better temp than the 2.140 rad? I was looking at EK, XSPC and Black Ice 360 rads for the replacement.

I was looking at these rads mainly for the price range. Suggestions?

I'm also debating going to 2 loops. I can put the 360 up top for the CPU since its OC'd and maybe cut the HDD at the bottom down to 2 and put the 280 down there?

Lemme know what you guys think.

    Thanks for the help!

Use the 360 for your gpu's and the 240 for the cpu if you are running a two loops.

Ya I'm thinking about that. I just got the pumps and res today. I just need to figure out which 360 rad to get.

So I've done a bit of research and I want to see what you guys think.

The XSPC RX360 is supposed to be pretty darn good.
The XSPC RS360 is good, but not as good as the RX. But it is 1/2 the price which is nice.
The EK CoolStream 360 is supposed to be right in the middle but is only $10 less than the RX

Does anyone use the RX360 and is it really worth 2x as much as the RS?

I think bloody Pete has the RX 360, which also features in his watercooling log/how to/build, and he rates it very highly :)

I have two RX360's. They are top notch rads. Had one of them cooling two overclocked and overvolted GTX 580's and temps under load rarely ever stretched to 50 degrees.

Ok then. How about fans for it? I hear the CM Turbine fans are good.

Scyth GT and Aerocool Sharks would be my top choices.

Blah now I don't know. I can get the CM fans (8 BNIB for $65 shipped) or pay full price for the Scyth GTs or Aerocool Sharks....

not helping, but ive heard lots of good things about the enermax magma fans on a rad

id love to see a ( constantly updated ) list of how fans perform on rads like the h70 ( coz its so common ) as well as a good heatsink ( like the true perhaps ) so people can avoid the hype alot of fans get
1 MILLION CUBIC FEET AT 800RPM

because there are alot of fans that some people rave about, yet other people say they are really poor fans ( noctua im looking at you )
and it would allow direct comparison of the various fans in the way people will use them ( air or watercooling )

    etc etc

I think I've decided on the Aercool Sharks. I'm going to pick up some 120mm and 140mm for the 2 rads
